Lillian Ainsworth of Columbus died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Mory's Haven.
Lillian A. Ainsworth was born on October 24, 1917 in Elgin, NE to Henry and Laura (Williams) Jasper. She grew up in Elgin and Humphrey. Lillian graduated from Humphrey St. Francis School in 1936. On July 13, 1937 she was united in marriage to Rodney Ainsworth at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. They lived in Madison County, Platte County, and settled in David City. Lillian was a housewife and raised her family. She moved to Columbus in 1997. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. Lillian enjoyed making crafts, doing needle work, gardening, and growing flowers.
