Leola Dallmann, 84, of Columbus died Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Morys Haven. Funeral services are 10:30 am Monday at the Hutchins Funeral Home in Franklin, NE with the Rev. Don Wilson officiating. Visitation is on Saturday morning from 9-11 am at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus with a Prayer Service for family and friends at 11:00 am, also at McKown Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dallmann was born November 19, 1920 near Kensington, KS to Edwin and Martha (Duhling) Day. She attended rural schools near Kensington. She married Albert Dallmann in Franklin, NE on September 16, 1937. She moved to Columbus in 2000.
She was a member of the Franklin Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, baking, Cornhusker Football, playing Bingo and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol (Pete) Bennett of Columbus and Dian Rogers of Lincoln; 1 brother, Dale (Adeline) Day of Osborne, KS; two sisters, Frances Dillon of Pico Rivera, CA and Shirley Martin of Lincoln, NE; 5 grandchildren, Kim Bean of Omaha, NE, Greg Bean of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Kylee Bean of Queen Creek, AZ, Jamie (Julie) Bennett of Columbus and Penny Rogers of Lincoln. She also is survived by 2 great grandchildren, Logan and David Bennett of Columbus and a large number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; son, David; her parents, 2 sisters and a half brother and half sister.
