Leo Rosenthal, age 96, of Columbus died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his home.
Leo Rosenthal was born November 20, 1921 near Tarnov, Nebraska to Thomas and Domicella (Lesiak) Rosenthal.
He grew up in the Tarnov area where he attended St. Anthony Catholic School. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He married Mary Ann Hafner. To this union Cheryl and Linda were born. When he returned to Columbus he worked at Columbus Hatchery, REA as a lineman and later owner and operated Rosenthal Disposal. He married Viola Sobotka in 1958 in Grand Island. He enjoyed hunting fishing, gardening and working.
