Leo Borys

Leo M. Borys, age 79 of Columbus, Nebraska died Monday April 28, 2003 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday May 1, 2003 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Christopher Grimmond officiating. Burial will be in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Duncan, Nebraska. Visitation is 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.

Leo M. Borys was born November 6, 1923 in Duncan, Nebraska to Charles and Katherine (Gembica) Borys. He lived and farmed in the Duncan area before moving to Columbus in 1975. Leo also worked for Laska Well Drilling for 20 years and St. Bonaventure Cemetery. He was a member of St. Anthony Church in Columbus.
