Lee died Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the Monarch Hospice House in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Lee Woodhead was born May 4, 1926 in Tilden, Nebraska to Gustav and Sophie (Hansen) Wildfang. She graduated from Benson High School in 1944. Upon graduating from business school, Lee worked at Gate City Steel in Omaha. On September 12, 1949 she was united in marriage to James A. Woodhead in Omaha. Lee and her family lived in Omaha, Lincoln, Chadron, McCook, Kansas City and Des Moines before moving to Columbus in 1969. Lee was a homemaker and did secretarial work. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. Lee enjoyed watching the Weather Channel and daily visits with her best friend Ruby. The greatest joys of her life were her faith, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her greatest sorrows were saying goodbye to her husband in 2001 and her son Dennis in 2007.

Great Grandchildren: Christopher and Meghan Woodhead; Bridgett and Marissa Woodhead and Wellington Beckman
