Lawrence A. &Quot;Larry&Quot; Brezinski

Larry died Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Lawrence A. "Larry" Brezinski was born August 23, 1936 in Columbus, Nebraska to Jacob and Anna (Torczon) Brezinski. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1954. On November 8, 1958 Larry was united in marriage to Janet Markytan at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. Larry worked for Dale Electronics until retiring. He was very active at St. Bonaventure Church where he sang in the Men's Choir, served as an EMHC, Nocturnal Adoration for 45 years, Perpetual Adoration and sorted envelopes on Monday mornings. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #938, Sertoma Club and a volunteer at the Columbus Community Hospital. Larry was a handyman. He tore down old buildings to use the lumber for his own remodeling projects then sold what he did not use. In his spare time he shingled many houses with his partner, Dale Wessel, with the assistance of his 4 children.

Grandchildren: Logan Atkinson of Denver, CO and Savannah Atkinson of Omaha, NE
Son: Mark (Michelle) Brezinski of Omaha, NE
Grandchildren: Kylie, Kessaya and Caiden Brezinski all of Omaha, NE
Daughter: Andrea (Blake) Birkel of Omaha, NE
Grandchildren: Hannah and Halle Birkel of Omaha, NE

Brother: Ray Brezinski
In-laws: Laddie and Marie Markytan
