Larry L. Thalken

Larry L. Thalken died Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Larry L. Thalken was born November 29, 1939 in Colfax County, Nebraska to Leonard and Viola (Svoboda) Thalken. He graduated from Leigh High School in 1958 and then from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with a Business Administration Degree. On August 31, 1960 Larry was united in marriage to Sheila Reins at Zion Lutheran Church in Leigh. The couple lived in Lincoln for 2 years before moving to Columbus in 1962. Larry worked for Dale Electronics his entire career until retiring. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church where he served on the finance committee for many years. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren compete in their sporting events.

Grandchildren: Caitlin (Ryan) Gray, Chelsea Thalken, Kiley (special friend Josh Raymond) Thalken, Nicole Thalken, Ashley Thalken, Shayna Thalken and Jordan (special friend Kylee Macken) Micek
Great Grandchildren: Riley Gray, Caiden Gray and Kamden Thalken
