Larry Powers

Larry Powers, age 79, of Columbus died Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2020 at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation is 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday also at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors by Hartman Post #84 American Legion Honor Guard.  All CDC guidelines will be followed.

Larry Powers was born February 23, 1941, in Taylor, NE to Leonard and Zeona (Stevens) Powers. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force from December 27, 1960 – December 31, 1980 and received his GED while serving. On February 2, 1962 Larry was united in marriage to Jeanette Larson at the base chapel in Altus, OK. They have lived in Columbus for over 30 years. Larry worked for Eller Heating, Total Comfort and then for Jerry Buggi. He was a member of A.A. for 37 years.
