Larry Niedbalski

Lawrence "Larry" Niedbalski, age 70 of Columbus, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024, at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Wednesday. There will be a 6:00 p.m. vigil service all at the Church.

Larry was born September 27, 1953, to Ben and Eleanor (Staroscik) Niedbalski in Columbus. He received his education at St. Anthony Grade School and graduated from Columbus High School in 1972. Larry worked at Nied's Meat Store, Union Pacific, Salvation Army along with other previous jobs. He was married to Helen Suchan. To this union the children were born. Larry was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan. He enjoyed NASCAR and Nebraska Football.

Larry is survived by his children: Jolene (Joe) Weverka, David (Kaeli) Niedbalski, Sara Niedbalski, Laura (Eric) Eaton, Cheryl (Kyle) Niedbalski, 12 grandchildren.

Siblings: Kathleen Miller, Charles Niedbalski, Sally (Kevin) Veik and Shirley (Troy) Head, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom.
