Larry Martens of Grand Island died Friday, September 27, 2024, in Papillion, Nebraska

Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024, at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Genoa.

Larry was born June 4, 1965, in Genoa, Nebraska to Harold and Lucy (Nansel) Martens. He graduated from high school in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas. He worked on bridge construction for a period of time. Larry currently has driven a truck over the road for many years. He was an avid husker football fan. He enjoyed Bengals Football, fishing, hard rock music and spending time with his family and friends.
