A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, May 27th at 1:00 p.m. at River Land Campground, Eagle Lodge, Columbus, NE.

Kimberley Ann Boss passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born on March 9th, 1953, in Humphrey, Nebraska. She graduated from Columbus High School. Anyone that knew Kim knew she was the life of the party. She lit up every room she walked into with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. A career jokester, she managed to put a smile on anyone's face that crossed her path. She would always say the two loves of her life were her daughter "Nichole" and her granddaughter "Wylie". She found her true passion later in life when she began her career as a school bus driver. There she met her lifelong friends that became her second family. Kim was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family and was always there to make you smile when you needed her most. Her kind and joyful spirit will live on in her friends and family. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Kim and Nichole moved to Colorado in 1982. She was a devoted employee for Littleton Public Schools for 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilma and Glenn Haferland. She is survived by her daughter, Nichole Boss, granddaughter Wylie Coyne, siblings; Claudia Burch, Glenda Parry, Dale Haferland, Keith Haferland, Tammy Crosier, Toni Massman, and Audrey Purucker.
