Kevin Stamm

Kevin Stamm age 61, of Columbus died Monday September 16, 2024 in Omaha.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2024 at Peace Lutheran Church. Visitation is Sunday 3-5 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Monday 9:30 a.m. until service time at Peace Lutheran Church. Interment is in the Columbus Cemetery.

Kevin was born in Osmond, Nebraska on April 6, 1963 to parents Alex and Georgia Stamm. He was the youngest of all his siblings. He was a longtime employee of BD Medical in Columbus

He was the best dad, always making sure we were safe and he loved when we visited him. He loved our cat, George, even though he said he never wanted a cat. He was always there for us when we needed him, no matter what was going on. You could call him in the middle of the night, and sure he might give you a hard time, but he'll still show up to help out. He loved the Huskers football team, always shouting at the TV when he thought the play was bad, and he loved spending time with family and friends. He was the guy you went to if you needed anything, and he was always there no matter what the circumstances were. He was always happy, and he always wanted to make other people smile and laugh. He was always cracking jokes and having fun, even until the end. I remember going to visit him in the hospital and the first thing he says is "Am I paler than you yet, honey?" We both had a good laugh about that. There wasn't a day that went by where he didn't joke around with his friends or have fun.
