Kevin D. Robb of Silver Creek died Sunday August 29, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Kevin D. Robb was born December 20, 1957 in Julesburg, CO to Bob and Betty (Keefer) Robb. He went to country school until second grade then attended Big Springs Public Schools from where he graduated. Kevin started farming at his dad's side when he was eight. At age 16 he went south with a harvesting crew before he returned to farming, mechanizing, trucking, and sugar beet hauling. Kevin married Mary Powers on December 29, 1979 at the United Methodist Church in Silver Creek. Kevin farmed near Big Springs until 1990 when he moved to Silver Creek where he worked as a ready-mix driver, plant manager, mechanic, and most recently at the Central City Ethanol Plant. Kevin was also a very committed volunteer fireman. He served on the Silver Creek fire department for 15 years including one year as chief.
