Frederick Kent Luchsinger died on October 11, 2013.
Kent Luchsinger was born August 30, 1928 to Fred C. and Elva (Redding) Luchsinger in Columbus, NE. He graduated from Kramer (Columbus) High School in 1946. He attended the University of Nebraska. Kent was a member of CO E, 134th Infantry Regiment, of the Nebraska National Guard from 1948 to 1955 and attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
He married Dolores M. Nickolite on May 29, 1950 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus, NE.
Kent was employed by the J.C. Penney Co. from 1948 to 1972 and managed 3 stores. In 1978 he was employed by the Zwickers Knitting Mills in Appleton, WI as a national sales manager and retired in 1992. He and Dolores traveled full time for 5 years in their motor home and settled in San Marcos, CA and then moved to Tucson, AZ.
