Kenneth died Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Columbus Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Kenneth Owen Ungles was born August 23, 1940 in Palisade, Nebraska to Kenneth and Lou (Tarr) Ungles. He graduated from Palisade High School in 1958. Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy from October 7, 1959 - October 11, 1963. Following the service he worked installing high lines throughout Nebraska. Ken then went to work for rodeo contractors as a bull rider and a rodeo clown in the Nebraska Rodeo Circuit. On September 7, 1968 he was united in marriage to Darlene Kosiba at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus. The couple has lived east of Tarnov for 45 years. Ken did private welding and for various manufacturing companies. In his later years he worked part time at Tractor Supply Company. Ken enjoyed creating iron art, painting horse trailers and farm equipment and caring for horses on the Nebraska racing circuit.
