Kenneth W. Moersen

Kenneth W. Moersen departed this life on December 11, 2008 at home with his family.

Mr. Moersen was born October 18, 1931 in Columbus, Nebraska to William J. and Helen (Krick) Moersen. He attended St. Bonaventure School, Kramer High School and Creighton University. He was married to Lois LuRae Arndt and they have three children, Ken R. Moersen, Stephen (Melanie) Moersen and Linda (Greg) Kading. He was retired from Dale Electronics, Inc., after serving as vice president, chief financial officer and a member of the board of directors.
In Columbus he had participated as a board member for Columbus Community Hospital, the Friends of Music and the Platte County Historical Society. In Loveland he had been a Service League Volunteer at McKee Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, his children, six grandchildren, David, Jackie, Scott, Kayla, Jacob and Adria; Four sisters, Geraldine Higgins, Angela Lusienski, Camilla (Russ) Nelson and Sister Winifred, O.S.F.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Memorials may be made to donor preference.

A lunch will be served at Duster's Restaurant immediately following the services at the cemetery.
