Kenneth W. Degner, age 54, of Columbus, Nebraska died Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2005 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Jeff Loseke officiating. Visitation is 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Friday at McKown Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at the Mary Hill Cemetery in Niles, Illinois

Kenneth Wallace Degner was born December 16, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Wallace Lewis and Mildred Hattie (Jesse) Degner. He married Roxanna M. Sanders on July 6, 1985 in Chicago. The couple lived in Columbus where he has worked at Appleton Electric for 35 years. He was an avid bowler and softball player, talented artist and a longtime Cub fan. Ken loved nature and being outdoors.
