Kenneth Anderson

November 19, 1932 — January 9, 2008

Kenneth Anderson, age 75, of Columbus died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at his home in Columbus. Funeral service are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus. The Rev. Douglas Zurek will officiate. Visitation is Sunday 3-7 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home. Burial with military honors by American Legion Hartman Post #84 Honor Guard is in Roselawn Cemetery.

Kenneth Rueben Anderson was born November 20, 1932 in Cuming County, Nebraska to Rueben and Anne (Hansen) Anderson. Following his high school graduation he served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1953-1955. He married Fae Schulzkump on June 17, 1956 at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point, Nebraska. He was engaged in farming and worked as a machinist in Columbus, Omaha, Grand Island and also worked for the Columbus Public Schools. He most recently worked at Panel Builder Plus in Columbus. Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a Nebraska Football fan, enjoyed baseball, bowling, fishing, camping, gardening and landscaping. He was member of Trinity Lutheran Church, VFW Post #4912, Eagles Club, served as a Sunday School teacher and a 4-H leader for 20 years.

Brother-in law: Wesley (Kathy) Schulzkump of West Point

He was preceded in death by his parents: Rueben & Anne and in-laws Kenneth & Mildred Schulzkump
