Kenneth Alderman

Kenneth G. Alderman, age 92 of Columbus died Sunday, June 17, 2007 at his home. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Friday at the McKown Funeral Home.

Kenneth G. Alderman was born July 20, 1914 in Stanton, Nebraska to George and Augusta (Schultz) Alderman. He grew up in Stanton where he graduated from Stanton High School. He was married to Leona Bruhn on June 28, 1937 in Stanton, Nebraska. He worked at the Swift Company in Hastings, owned and operated Ogallala Feed and Poultry and the Culligan Soft Water in Ogallala. He also worked as an auditor for the State of Nebraska Welfare Department. He was a life member of the Elks Lodge #1760, an avid fisherman and golfer, recording two hole in ones.
