Kenneth R. Lisko of Columbus passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 at Meridian Gardens. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Monday, July 8, 2019 at St. Isidore Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Miksch officiating. There will be a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery with military honors by Hartman Post 84 American Legion Honor Guard.
Ken Lisko was born April 16, 1949 in Omaha to Frank and Clara (Mueller) Lisko. They resided in Boys Town until returning to Osceola where Ken graduated from high school in 1967.
After graduation Ken Joined the U.S. Navy. He served from 1968 until 1976 making two deployments to Vietnam. During this time in February of 1971, Ken married Narka Graham in Silver Creek. To this union three children were born, Jamie, Lori and Cory.
After his time in the service, Ken started at the U.S. Post Office in Columbus in 1977. In 1986 he married Cindy Henninger. Ken retired in 2005.
Ken was an avid Nebraska fan of all sports. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spring asparagus and mushroom hunting. He is a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, V.F.W., D.A.V. and NARFE.

Sister: Sandra Zipse of Lakewood, CO

Father: Frank Lisko and Brother-in-law Larry Zipse
Uncle: Marcel Mueller
