Keith died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Lowell Keith Grimes was born August 18, 1944 in Columbus, Nebraska to Lowell "Burley" and Ruth (Brown) Grimes. He graduated from Columbus High School and attended Peru State College where he played football. Keith then graduated from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. He worked for the State of Nebraska Railway Commission, did construction work and auctioneering. Keith did commercial fishing in Florida where he also kept a residence there. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Keith is survived by many friends.
He is preceded by his parents, two brothers Larry and Robert Grimes.
