Kay Pelc, age 73, of Columbus, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Kay was born February 10, 1941 in Page, Nebraska to Ronald and Helen (Sedlacek) Carson. She grew up in Lynch where she graduated from High school in 1959. She married Howard Pelc on June 1, 1963 in Spencer. They lived in various communities including Colorado, Lincoln and Howells. She worked at the nursing home in Dodge for several years. In 2009 they moved to Columbus. Kay enjoyed ceramics, crafts, fishing and her grandchildren.
She is survived by:
Husband: Howard of Columbus
Daughter: Kamie (Tom) Carmichael of Oakland
Son: Scott (Toni) Pelc of Columbus
Son: Travis (Donna) Pelc of Lincoln
Son: Zack (Shelly) Pelc of Spirit Lake, IA
10 Grandchildren
Brother: Ronnie (Delores) Carson of Mesa, AZ
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Alvin Carson.
