Katie Gronenthal was born May 31, 1985 in Columbus to Larry and Joan (Brester) Gronenthal. She attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from Columbus High School in 2005. Katie worked at Headstart, Versatile Support, before joining Hy-Vee where she has worked for the past 11 years.
Katie enjoyed shopping, dancing, bowling, singing, and roadtrips. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Katie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Platte Center where she helped with CCD.
Katie is survived by:
Parents Larry and Joan Gronenthal of Platte Center
Brother Randy (Kitty) Gronenthal of Platte Center
Sister Kelli Ganskow of Platte Center
Nine nephews and one niece.
She is preceded in death by:
