Kathleen &Quot;Kathi&Quot; Nelson

Kathi died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at her home in Columbus.

Kathleen Kay Nelson was born August 21, 1944 in Norfolk, Nebraska to Kenneth G. and Leona (Bruhn) Alderman. She grew up in Stanton, Hastings and Ogallala. Kathi graduated from Doane College in 1966 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She married Paul N. Nelson on June 15, 1968 in Ogallala. Kathi taught in Hygiene, CO, Sprague - Martell, Beatrice and St. Luke's outside of Columbus. She worked as a Library/Media Assistant at Centennial, Duncan, and Lost Creek. She enjoyed her family, children, books, bicycling and the outdoors.
