Katherine &Quot;Kathi&Quot; (Mrs. Con) Nosal

Katherine "Kathi" Ann (Mrs. Con) Nosal, 74, of Columbus died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Katherine Ann (Shonka) Nosal was born September 7, 1940 in Columbus to Glenn and Lucile (Bame) Shonka. She attended schools in Colorado, Grand Island, and graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in Columbus. Kathi graduated from College of St. Marys in Omaha as a Registered Medical Record Librarian. She went to work at St. Bernards Hospital in Council Bluffs for two years. On October 12, 1963 she was united in marriage to Clarence Con Nosal at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus. Kathi was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother after marriage. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church. Kathi was a CCD teacher in Ohio and helped with church activities. Kathi was involved the childrens school activities and served as a library volunteer. She also enjoyed sewing, ceramics, bible study, crossword puzzles, and reading. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren above all else. Kathi lived with the effects of Multiple Sclerosis from the age of 22.

Brother Jim (Linda) Shonka of Lincoln, NE
Brother Bob (Sherry) Shonka of Omaha
8 grandchildren: Conrad and Cameron Nosal, Berto and Carlos Carselle, Bailey, Mackenzie, Blake, and Brynn Nosal

She was preceded in death by:

Father and Mother-in-law Mike and Barbara Nosal
