Karen Kucera, age 69, of Columbus, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.
Karen Kucera was born May 26, 1947 in Millersburg, Ohio to Marion Willis and Faye Irene (Stewart) Tharp. She grew up in Millersburg where she graduated in 1965 from West Holmes High School. She worked at the Rubbermaid Factory. She also worked as a waitress for many years at numerous locations including Sapp Brothers Caf and the Picket Fence. Karen was united in marriage to LaVerne F. "Vern" Kucera on December 26, 1995 in Columbus. Growing up she loved to Dance. She enjoyed going to casinos, and bingo. Her greatest joy came from her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. The family would like to recognize the wonderful care provided by Dr. Marcia Goering, David Place and Brookestone Acres.
