Kara Mabee

Kara Lee (Elston) Mabee died peacefully surrounded by her family on July 11, 2017. Kara was born on October 27th, 1957. She graduated from Plattsmouth High School and then moved to Columbus where she attended Central Community College. She met her husband Steve Mabee and they had 42 wonderful years together. She worked at Becton Dickenson for 37 years before retiring. She loved her family dearly, especially her beloved 6 grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, morel mushroom hunting, reading a good book, good food and travel, listening to her grandchildren laugh, music, and spending time with her fur baby Piper

6 grandchildren: Evan Lee Mabee, Lili Crumley, Kara Ann Callahan, Lauren Lee Callahan, Molly Lynne Callahan, and Charlie Mabee.
