June L. Loseke, age 82, of Columbus, Nebraska died Friday, May 20, 2005 at the Columbus Community Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus with Reverend Timothy White officiating. Burial is in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Columbus. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
June Louise Loseke was born June 14, 1922 in Columbus, Nebraska to Alvin and Amy (Wagner) Herrguth. She graduated from Platte Center High School in 1940. On June 14, 1940 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Victor Loseke in Columbus. The couple lived and farmed 10 miles north of Columbus until moving into Columbus in 1975. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Quilting Club and worked as an assistant in the church office. She enjoyed playing cards and dancing.
