Julia Stachura of Columbus passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023 at the Columbus Community Hospital with family by her side.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Visitation Tuesday is 5-7 p.m. There will be a 7:00 p.m. vigil service all at the church. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment is in the All Saints Cemetery.
Julia Stachura was born June 20, 1928, in Nance County, Nebraska to George and Veronica (Liss) Yrkoski. She was united in marriage to Frank Stachura on September 22, 1954, at Ss. Peters and Paul Catholic Church-Krakow. Along with raising her family she also worked at D&L until her retirement. Julia was extremely competitive in everything she did; losing was not an option! Julia enjoyed watching baseball, playing golf, bowling, fishing, playing cards, gardening, and polka dancing.

Son: Ron (Chantelle) Stachura of Otoe, NE
Son: Roger (Jocelyn) Stachura of Cedar Bluffs, NE
12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren
Many nieces and nephews and Special Friend Sandy Schamp
Bothers & Sisters-in-law: Eva Lantz, Mike & Connie Stachura, and Mike & Mary Maguire
She was preceded in death by:

Parents: George and Veronica Yrkoski
Brothers: Charlie, Martin, Louis, Steve, and Phillip Yrkoski
Sisters: Mary Kula, Rose Prososki and Frances Yrkoski and several in-laws
