Julia J. Cheloha, 79, of Columbus died peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2009 surrounded by her family at Columbus Community Hospital.
Julia Josephine Cheloha was born July 10, 1930 in Nance County to John and Anna (Czarnik) Swerczek. She graduated from St. Stanislaus School in Duncan. On September 26, 1949 she was united in marriage to Carl C. Cheloha in Duncan. They resided and farmed Northwest of Duncan until moving to Columbus in 1980. Julia raised her family and worked for Pinkerton Security for 13 years. She was a member of St. Anthony Church in Columbus and a former member of St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan. Julia enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, canning, playing Bingo, gaming, and listening and dancing to Polka music.
