Joyce A. Dohmen age 77, of Columbus died Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Joyce was born February 10, 1941 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Arnold and Jennie Nelson. She attended grade school at District 58 and graduated from Newman Grove High School in 1958 where she was Valedictorian. She was the Nebraska Dairy Princess in 1959. She attended Wayne State College where she received her Elementary Education degree. Joyce married Paul Dohmen on February 14, 1962 in Columbus, NE. Joyce taught for the Columbus Public Schools for 38 years and then was a substitute teacher for 17 years.

Grandchildren: Mickala (Ray) Gunby, Jerica (Charlie) Campbell, Morgan, Blake and Laura Tooley, Peyton, Shayne, Nathan and Kayley Ellis,
Brother: Craig (Carla) Nelson of Newman Grove, NE

Joyce was born February 10, 1941 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Arnold and Jennie Nelson.
