Joseph J. Mostek

Joe died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his home in Columbus.

Joseph J. Mostek was born November 12, 1935 in Loretto, Nebraska to Frank and Mary (Korus) Mostek. He grew up in Albion and Columbus. Joe served in the U.S. Army from April 1959 - March 1961. He married Veronica Long on October 18, 1958 at St. Edward Catholic Church in St. Edward, Nebraska. Following his honorable discharge from the service the couple lived in Columbus where Joe worked for Behlen Manufacturing for 40 years until retiring. He was a member of St. Anthony Church and enjoyed animals, working on cars and going to garage sales.
