Joseph Soulliere Jr

Joseph Peter Soulliere, Jr., age 65, of Columbus, Nebraska died Monday October 7, 2002 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3-8 pm at McKown Funeral Home with a Vigil service at 7 pm, also at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning from 8-10 am at McKown Funeral Home.

Joseph Peters Soulliere Jr. was born September 29, 1937 in Columbus, Nebraska to Joseph and Margaret (Olson) Soulliere Sr. He graduated from Kramer High School in 1955. Joe served in the United States Navy from June 15, 1955 until his discharge on August 14, 1973. He served aboard submarines during his career and aboard an aircraft carrier during the Vietnam era. Joe lived in Toms River, New Jersey before returning to Columbus in 1993. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3704.
