Jon died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the UNMC in Omaha, Nebraska.
Jon David DeWyke was born October 13, 1961 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Ralph and Carrol (Sachtjen) DeWyke. He graduated from High School in 1980 and received his Bachelors Degree from Kansas State University. In 1989 Jon received his Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering also from Kansas State University. He married Renee Kirkpatrick on December 28, 1985 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Junction City, Kansas. Jon lived in Omaha and worked at Applied Power Associate Consulting firm before moving to Columbus and working for NPPD. In 1995, following the restructure of the Nuclear Department at NPPD, Jon went to work for Vishay-Dale as an engineer. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, the YMCA and enjoyed watching movies and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
