Jolene Soulliere, age 66 of Columbus died Saturday, September 6 at her home in Columbus.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Friday, September 12 at St. Bonaventure Church in Columbus.  Visitation is on Thursday from 5-7 pm with a 7:00 pm Vigil service to follow, all at St. Bonaventure Church.  Visitation continues Friday morning from 9:30 am until service time. Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials may be designated to Scotus Central Catholic High School.

Jolene Soulliere was born on July 13,1959 to Peter and Stella Sleddens in Columbus, NE. She graduated from Scotus Central Catholic High School in 1977, and The Grand Island School of Business in 1979. On May 16th,1981 she married William Soulliere Jr. at St. Bonaventure Church. They were blessed with two wonderful children Tina and William III. Jolene worked at Behlen Mfg. for 43 years before retiring on December 31, 2020. She went on to work for their family-owned business Bill's Tire Outlet in Columbus.

Jolene was a kind, caring, and fun-loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, and friend. She was always smiling and had a positive, cheerful personality. She loved the outdoors, and spent every summer fishing, boating, riding ATVs, and camping with their group of friends also known as "The Crazy Club". Jolene loved country music, traveling, reading, baking, shopping, and watching football. Jolene's family was her number one priority. She attended every sporting event her grandkids participated in,and was their biggest fan. Jolene had a heart of pure gold, and her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those closest to her.
