Johnna “Jackie” Otto, age 83 of Newman Grove, died Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Mid Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove.

Services are pending at St. Michael's Church in Albion

Johnna Otto was born June 12, 1942 in California to John and Bernice (Vogt) Dee. She grew up in Newman Grove, Nebraska and graduated from Newman Grove High School in 1960. Jackie was married and had 5 children. She worked at Lindsay Manufacturing and as a nurse’s aid.

Jackie enjoyed playing bingo, uno, poker, and hanging out with people, and going gambling with Sister Agatha and and her friend Martha. She especially loved going with her grandchildren on all of their shenanigans. She was a major social butterfly who would do anything for anybody.

Jackie was love by many and will be greatly missed.
