John Selzer

John Selzer, age 63, of Bellwood, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at his home in Bellwood.

Per John's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Presentation cemetery.

John loved the horseraces, Johnny Cash, and Johnny Carson.

Although he suffered a football injury in 1971 that rendered him a quadriplegic, John maintained his sense of humor.

Knowing his life was drawing to a close, John was asked what he wanted in the paper. He replied, "One Used Wheelchair for Sale!" :)

John is survived by:
Parents Otto (Jack) & Claryce (Ebel) Selzer of Bellwood
Sister Nancy Selzer of Lincoln
Brother Scott (Karen) Selzer of Lincoln
Nephew Josh and niece Nicole of Lincoln
