John Mohrman Jr.

John died Tuesday at the Columbus Community Hospital.

John A. Mohrman Jr. was born December 17, 1923 in Platte County, Nebraska to John Sr. and Sara (Seefeld) Mohrman. He received his education at Monroe High School. John married Katherine Smith on September 21, 1947 at the First Baptist Church in Columbus. He farmed and worked as a salesman for Moews Seed for many years. John also worked for 5th Season Lawn Service and most recently at Menards for several years. John remodeled homes including Lou Ann's Hair Den. He enjoyed woodworking and served on the School Board. He was a past member of Shell Creek Baptist Church where he was baptized in 1941, First Baptist Church in Columbus and Highland Park Evangelical Free Church where he served as a treasurer and youth leader.

John is survived by:

Daughter: Lou Ann Mohrman of Columbus, NE
