John Jacobitz, age 68, of Columbus, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at his home.
John M. Jacobitz was born November 24, 1949 in Superior, Nebraska to Melvin and Justine ( Bricka) Jacobitz. He graduated from Columbus High in 1967. John served in the United States Army in the 313th Military Police from 1970-1976. He worked at Becton-Dickenson over 20 years. He was united in marriage to Jayne "Choda" Kotrous on August 30, 1986 in Verdigre, Nebraska
John is survived by:
sister: Becky (Richard) Ebert of Saronville, NE
nieces: Jennifer (Jim) Klein of Lincoln and Kari (Aaron) Honor of Bakersfield, CA
nephew: Mike (Susan) Ebert of Phoenix, AZ
and numerous sister-in-laws & brother-in-laws
and his beloved dog: Lucy
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Jayne Ann Jacobitz.
