John Homan

John Homan, age 92, of Columbus died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Mory's Haven in Columbus.

John N. Homan was born February 9, 1919 in Bellwood, Nebraska to Ben and Katherine (Steiner) Homan. He received his education at Marietta. He served in the United States Navy from 1938 until 1945. John married Ann Marie Kroutil on January 23, 1953 in Schuyler, Nebraska. He worked at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita for over 24 years. He returned to Columbus in 1988. He was active in the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name, American Legion, V.F.W and Eagles Club.

John is survived by:

Brother: George (Marie) Homan of Omaha, NE
Sister-in-law: Rita Homan of David City, NE
and many nieces and nephews
