John Haley, age 76, died Monday, July 23, 2018 in Omaha.
John Haley was born, October 3, 1941 in Elgin, Nebraska to Frederick and Lila (Stege) Haley. He grew up in Elgin and moved to Columbus in 1959. He served in the United States Air Force. He returned to Columbus where he worked for Woods Texaco Station. He married Sharon Bruckner on February 15, 1962. He lived in Columbus, Cheyenne and Lincoln, before returning to the Columbus area.
John is survived by:
Son: Brian (Cindy) Haley of Ohio
Daughter: Gina Olson of Iowa
Daughter: Elizabeth (Steven) Cahill of North Platte
Sister: Jody (Don) Schnelle of Monroe
along with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son: Timothy.
