John James Cyza, 47, passed away unexpectedly October 23, 2026, at his home near Columbus, Nebraska.

All services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church-Pilzno, 1748 County Road 140, in rural Osceola. Visitation is being held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday November 1st, with a 5 p.m. Vigil service. Mass of Christian Burial is being held 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 2nd.

John was born in 1979 to Jerome and Bonnie (Borer) Cyza. He attended Shelby Public School graduating in 1997.

He is survived by his daughter Atlas. Sisters Julie, Joanie and brother Lonny. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. John was preceded in death by his parents.
