John Larry Badje

John Larry Badje, age 73, of Columbus, died Sunday, June 5, 2022 at his home in Columbus.

Visitation is June 14 , Tuesday, 9-10 a.m. at the McKown Funeral. A graveside service will conclude at the Columbus Cemetery.

The family requests no flowers or plants.

John Larry Badje was born February 2, 1949 to John and Barbara (Claus) Badje. He grew up in Humphrey where he graduated from Humphrey High School in 1967. In the fall of 1967 he was married to Patricia Wait. He lived in Grand Island where he worked at the Ammunition Plant. He lived in various locations relating to his work over the years. He returned to Columbus in 2014 where he has lived since. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, Nebraska football, dogs and spending time with his family.

He is survived by:

Daughter: Robin Roark

Grandchildren: Christian, Justin, Jordan, Gregory

Brothers: Glenn (Donna) Badje,  Ted Badje

Sisters: Arla Burkhardt, Lori (Forrest) Taylor
