Jodie A. Burger

Jodie A. Burger of Leigh died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Jodie Alberta Burger was born July 19, 1962 in Columbus to Bennie, Sr. and Elizabeth (Bradley) Bardsley. She was raised on a farm north of Monroe where she attended District #39 school and graduated from Monroe High in 1980. On January 25, 1991 Jodie was united in marriage to Daniel Burger at the Shell Creek Baptist Church north of Columbus. The couple resided in Leigh. She worked at Hinky Dinky and Russ's Superfoods. Jodie also cleaned houses, did Home Health Care and worked at First Steps Daycare. She was currently working as a Med Aid for Region IV in Columbus. Jodie enjoyed walks in the park with her husband, Danny, visiting and being with her family and playing with all her nieces and nephews. She liked to talk and text on her smart phone, playing with her computer, watching tv, and collecting Betty Boop items. She loved taking care of others, especially her mom.
