Joann died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Joann Darlene (Campain) Potter was born April 27, 1932 in St. Edward, Nebraska to Frank and Katherine (Heltenberg) Campain. She grew up in St. Edward and graduated from St. Edward High School in 1949. Joann met the love of her life, Harold Francis Potter in 1945. They were united in marriage at the Presbyterian Parsonage in Fort Dodge, Iowa on August 28, 1949. They moved to Columbus in 1958 where they later owned their own business, Potter International. They were blessed with 4 children which Joann took great pride in and loved dearly. Besides raising her children she worked with Harold in their business. Joann enjoyed traveling, gardening and was very talented with arts, crafts and quilting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her 4 grandchildren and great granddaughter. She will be greatly missed.
