Joan Hoffman

Joan died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Joan Hoffman was born April 12, 1932 in St. Edward, Nebraska to Clinton and Sadie (Best) Folk. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1950. Joan married Fritz J. Hoffman on June 16, 1950 in Fremont, Nebraska. Prior to moving to Columbus in 2000, the couple traveled in their motor home and lived in North Bend, Nebraska for 20 years. Joan had been a resident of Crown Villa the past 8 years and enjoyed playing a card game named "Mexican Train" with her friends there. She had a special relationship with each of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Joan was a member of St. Isidore Church and the Red Hat Society.
