Joan "Jo" Hastings of Columbus died Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Emerald Nursing and Rehab in Columbus after a brief illness.
Memorial services for Joan and her husband, Tom, will be held at 1:00 Monday, April 11, 2022, at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation is 2:00-3:00 Sunday with a 3:00 Vigil service at the funeral home. Interment is in Roselawn Cemetery.
Joan Hastings was born February 1, 1944, in Genoa, NE to Adam and Charlotte (Harris) Schreiber. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1962. Joan was united in marriage to Tom Hastings on August 24, 1963, in Columbus. Joan was a homemaker. Joan enjoyed going to the horse races and bus trips to the casino with her husband.
