Joan died Friday, October 15, 2010 at the Countryside Home in Madison, Nebraska.

Joan Feehan was born April 11, 1920 in Nottingham, England to Tom and Evie (Peach) Elliot. She grew up in England and married Cecil Feehan on December 18, 1944 in Nottingham, England. Following the war the couple moved to Grand Island until 1960 when they moved to Lincoln. In 1963 they moved to Columbus where they owned and operated the Cottonwood Pub until retiring in 1990. Joan enjoyed gardening and preparing traditional English meals.

She is survived by:

Sister-in-law: Cecelia Feehan of Columbus, NE
Granddaughter: Angie Feehan of Columbus, NE
Grandson: Ryan Feehan of Lincoln, NE

She was preceded in death by:

Mother: Evie Elliot
Brother-in-law: Gerald Feehan
Brother-in-law: Leonard Feehan
