Jo Bugay

Jo Bugay, age 67, of Columbus, Nebraska died Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Tom Weisbecker officiating. Burial is in the All Saints Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation is Monday from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at McKown Funeral Home and after 6:30 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at St. Bonaventure Church. Visitation continues Tuesday morning from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Jo Bugay was born August 17, 1939 in North Loup, Nebraska to George and Erma (Smith) Eberhart. She graduated from Fullerton High School in 1957. On March 20, 1958 Jo was united in marriage to Ron Bugay in Fullerton. The couple moved to Grand Island Nebraska in 1960 and then to Columbus in 1976. Jo worked for Island Supply Welding Company for 30 years. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, the Wagoneer's Campers Club and enjoyed scrapbooking, going to casinos, baking for the Farmer's Market and being with her family and grandchildren.
