Jimmie D. Hoffart of Columbus died Friday, December 19, 2025 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Funeral services are 10:30 am Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the McKown Funeral Home. Military honors will be conducted by The American Legion Hartman Post #84 Honor Guard.

Jimmie was born April 11, 1947 in Plainview, Nebraska to Merle and Helen (Hilkimer) Hoffart. He received his education in Plainview he graduated from high school Jimmie served in the United States Air Force for 6 years. He was united in marriage to Janice Foster on May 13, 1967 in Plainview. Jimmie worked at Mid America Dairy for 43 years in O’Neil and Ravenna. Following his retirement he moved to Columbus.

Jimmie is survived by his wife Janice, son Kirby (Brenda) Hoffart, daughter Karri (Rick) Lammers, grandchildren: Mikala (Miguel), Amber (Bob), Jake (Kali), Isaac, Grace and Jonathan, great grandchildren: Lillian, Quinton, Jaci, Levi and Charlie, brothers: Terri (Pat) Hoffart and Ron (Carol) Hoffart

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Kelly.
